THE World Philo­soph­i­cal Fo­rum aimed at pro­mot­ing peace and unity in di­ver­sity all over the world was held for the first time in the Philip­pines on Septem­ber 15 at the Cen­tury Park Ho­tel in Malate, Manila. The gen­eral goal of the WPF ac­tiv­ity is to es­tab­lish and mul­ti­ply the new iden­tity of hu­man be­ings based on wis­dom, rea­son and moral­ity. Founded by Igor Kon­drashin, the WPF of­fi­cials and mem­bers gath­ered to­gether in Manila and dis­cussed and ad­dress the chal­lenges and is­sues the Philip­pines are fac­ing, which in­cludes poverty, hunger, ed­u­ca­tion, and in­sur­gency, as well as, is­sues with pol­i­tics.
